📝 Story Day

Storyboard the movie on paper — what happens, in order, in pictures. Then build the LEGO sets. A 60-second movie needs a real plan.

Tuesday – Thursday Menu pick one each morning

🎥 Shoot Scenes

Stop Motion Studio (free) on the iPad. Move bricks a tiny bit, snap, repeat. It even has minifig mouths so characters can talk.

🔤 Titles & Sound

Title cards, credits, sound effects, music. Every great film needs a dramatic opening.

🎨 Drawing Break

Patience tank empty? Art for Kids Hub tutorial — maybe draw the movie poster.

🎬 Film-crew rules: tape the baseplate to the table (bumped set = ruined scene), close the blinds and use a lamp (changing sunlight makes flicker), and mount the iPad on something fixed — book stack + rubber band works fine.
🃏 Wildcard: Out-take reel. The mess-ups become the credits gag — every Pixar movie does it.
📚 Reading goal: finish The Phantom Tollbooth this week — the DC & NYC trip starts Sunday!
